Most of my time lately has been spent working, eating mince pies, going to the gym to work off the mince pies and online shopping. I'm pretty much done and dusted with my all Christmas shopping, just waiting for the last few bits to arrive in the post and debating whether or not I love my boyfriend enough to buy him another present.
Here is a very simple and boring outfit that I wore a few weeks ago for a friends birthday.
I wasn't really feeling the dress or my hair and it bothered my so much that I didn't end up having a good time and went home early! Lame
Dress - Topshop
Shoes - Carvela Kurt Keiger
Bag - Kurt Keiger
Rings - ASOS & River Island
Bruise - Model's own! I swear I am always covered in random bruises - this ones a biggy too!
I am also show-casing what I purchased using my £25 KG gift card. I also managed to get a sneaky discount too so this bag cost me the grand total of £1.50. But I'll be honest I wouldn't have paid much more. I order it from the website because of the fact the colours matched my dress, but when it came I was very disappointed, it's basically just a fabric make up bag! Still, it did the trick and I can't gripe for that little money.
Hope everyone is well. I just hit the 100 followers mark which is nice :), thanks for taking the time to read and follow my blog and I apologise for my sporadic posting skills!

Vapid Blonde
How dumb do I look in this first picture?
Not sure what look I was going for, but I fit the poster girl for dumb blondes everywhere!
Just a boring outfit, for a little dinner date with the in-laws, well, not really the in-laws, but maybe they will be one day....
Jumper - River Island
Vest top (underneath) - Primark
Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - Steve Madden
Bag - Mulberry
Ring - Topshop
Love me these coloured jeans, little bit harder to work with coloured skinnies, as opposed to normal jeans, but I think it's worth it.
On another note please go and watch Tamara Ecclestone's new programme on Channel 5. Great watching. She comes across so badly in the first episode, but redeems herself slightly in the second, but mainly it's all about her freakin' Birkin collection. Jesus I'm jealous.

Scared fur real!
How difficult is it to take decent pictures now it gets dark at like 3pm?
Anyway Sunday was a horrible dark and cold day and I would have been quite content to stay in my pj's all day, but I dragged myself into the shower and put together this shoddy attempt at an outfit to go see Paranormal Activity 3. Which was awesome, but hideous at the same time. I love scary movies, but I also hate them. Me and my friend were huddled up together behind our coats the whole bloody film, but I'm like 'yeah, that was so good', even though I missed half of it!
The most important thing was that I managed to get my daily dose of Starbuck's now the Christmas lattes are out - grande soya gingerbread latte for me please! And I also had my first mince pie of the season. All very exciting.
Anyway, the main aim of this outfit was to be warm - as I don't yet own a decent winter coat, nor will I probably ever own a decent winter coat - layering is key, although I did also put on a black (p)leather jacket on before I ventured out.
Jumper & Jeans - Topshop
Black vest (just seen) - H&M
Shoes - ASOS
Bag - Focco c/o eBay
Fur stole - Vintage c/o Grandma
Please don't hate when I say this fur stole is real. I got back from holiday a few weeks ago and found 3 of these in different colours in my room. Basically my mum had helped to clear out my Grandma's loft and they'd found these stoles, which she thought I would like. I would never, ever buy real fur but I guess because these must be at least 40 years old it seems a shame to just chuck them out. They are gorgeously soft and lovely colours. I'm slightly scared when I wear them out I'll get paint thrown over me or something. Morally it still feels a bit wrong, but it seems silly considering they are so old.
Please don't hate!
What would you do in this situation?

Feel Unique.com Beauty Box - November
Not many people seem to be subscribed to feelunique.com's monthly beauty box. Or if they are, they ain't blogging about it!
Maybe there is a reason for this and I'm just dumb, but I'm certainly enjoying my boxes!
It makes the beginning of the month a very exciting time for me as I love surprises! But I am a slight horder and am worried about how many sample size products I'll have laying around half finished in 6 months time!
Anyhoo, this is November's FeelUnique.com's beauty box
Eek stuffed full!
Xen-Tan Deep Bronze Luxe. Sample Size 30mls. RRP £21.50 for 236ml
First up we have Xen - Tan deep bronze luxe. I'm sure we've all heard of Xen-Tan. I certainly have, and I'm a user of it. I currently use the Absolute Luxe in Ultra Dark (we Essex girls, only go for the darkest!). However, this is an instant tan that claims to last for a week, so it's slightly different. It's 30mls so I reckon just about enough for a whole body? I know Xen-Tan is good, and I can imagine a lot of people, like myself, have already tried it. So is it a new product for me to try? Well, no. Am I happy for a sample? Well, yes, as I already use it, it's pretty useful.
Schwarkopf Dust It. Full size 10g. RRP £9.55
Next is my beloved Schwarkopf Dust It, which I squealed with excitement when I saw. Basically a texturising powder that you 'dust' on your roots for a little bit of extra volume. You may have also already heard of it, I'm pretty sure it's the original powder type hair stuff, but correct me if I'm wrong! Personally I love this stuff and as it's a full size I'm pretty darn happy.
Bella Pierre Shimmer Powder. Full size 2.35g. RRP £12.99
This claims to be a 'multi-purpose shimmer powder' but personally I will not be using it anywhere other than my eyes, it's dark brown! I'm guessing you get different colours in different boxes. I've heard of Bella Pierre before, in fact my mum got duped into spending a large amount of money on their products from a pop up stall in our local shopping centre, they weren't great quality. I'm not that impressed because of that. However, this eye shadow is fine. Just a brown eyeshadow, pretty pigmented, but goes everywhere. I'm not sold, but I will probably get some use out of it!
Goldwell DualSenses. Ultra Volume 60sec gel-treatment. Sample size - 50mls. RRP £7.70 for 200ml
Anything that gives volume to my hair it good in my books. I've never heard of Goldwell before and was pretty sceptical if it would work. I used it the other night, I was just thinking 'nahhh, this will never work' but I was actually pretty damn surprised that it did seem to give me a good bit of root volume, without weighing it down at all. Probably the most difference I've gotten' from any volumizing product. It smells fresh, and is actually really good value. The only negative I have it that I'm not sure whether it's a conditioner or not? The instructions just say to 'leave on shampooed hair for 60 secs', but what about conditioning? Personally I used shampoo and conditioner before the product, and it seemed to work just fine. Will definitely be purchasing the full size.
Emma Hardie Amazing Face Natural Life and Sculpt Moringa Cleansing Balm & Dual Action Professional Cleansing Cloth. Sample size - 30mls. RRP £34 for 100ml
Lastly it probably the item that I was most excited about. Again I've never heard of Emma Hardie, but I love moringa and I love the fact it it is a cleanser that comes with a cleansing cloth, as I'm a user of Liz Earle usually. The packaging it expensive looking and the fact that this little sample comes with such an amazing cleansing cloth is fab!! The cloth has a muslin side and a softer micro fibre side, plus a dinky little logo! I'm happy with the cloth alone! The cleanser is lovely smelling and almost 'gel-like' in texture, if a little on the greasy side. It got my make-up off well and my face looked lovely and smooth afterwards. I feel I need at least a week or two of usage to see any real results, but I'm happy to preserver. Plus I think that even if I don't like the cleanser, I'll be definitely getting some more of the cloths!
Oh, and I also got a little sample of Bvlgari - Mon Jasmin Noir perfume. It's not bad.
All in all a pretty successful box! What do you think?

Lil' Hips
At the moment all my (very few) posts seem to be outfits. So I apologise.
I'm going through a bit of personal crap at the moment, so haven't been able to muster up the energy/enthusiasm to blog about anything more substantial. Plus I seem to be coming down with a hideous cold that's been brewing up for a week. But, troubles aside, it is important to look pretty.
Just went out for a couple of mojitos with my girlfriends the other night wearing this.
I used to live in pencil skirts, but then then kind of weren't in fashion so much and difficult to buy. However, I was milling around the Oxford Street Topshop on Friday in a really good mood and grabbed this one to try on. Whilst dancing around in the changing room to the amazing songs they were playing (seriously if you need to get in the mood for a night out - Topshop, Friday afternoon!), I decided to go for it, and here it is.
Top - Topshop
Skirt - Topshop (here)
Shoes - Topshop
Belt - Oh bloody hell, everything is Topshop!
Bag - ASOS
Unfortunately I have no hips. This skirt would look 100 times better on someone with curves, and while I attempted to give the illusion of a Kim Kardashian figure, you can still see the wrinkles on my hips where the skirt didn't fit properly! I also forgot how uncomfortable pencil skirts can be, but I'm glad to be back in one!
Oh and lastly a gratuitous nail picture. Excuse my finger fuzz(?!) and terrible cuticles!
Orly - Green with Envy
Butter London - Henley Regatta

Road Kill
I adore Halloween. I wish we would do it American style here! It's such a huge thing in across the pond. Last year my Sister and brother-in-law actually went to Heidi and Seal's Halloween party. SO JEALOUS!
I plotted my Halloween outfit for quite a while and was pretty pleased with my DIY results. I didn't actually have an awesome night though, we went to this dodgy party and I got way too drunk and was laying on my boyfriends parents bathroom floor at about 1.30am, Halloween outfit around my ankles, head over toilet bowl! I've had a pretty shit week and that combined with my lack of eating dinner Friday night made for a hideous hangover the next day. I think I remember on my last post saying something about the negative of drinking too much, so more fool me. Silly girl.
Anyway this year I was Road Kill! Fox style!
Leotard - eBay
Wig - eBay - here, I ordered one of these wigs last year in brown, they are such good quality for the price and people thought it was my real hair (not so much with this luminous orange wig though!)
Tights - Topshop
Ears & Tail - eBay
Guts - Primark - well they were tights from the kids section that I put rubber bands on a splatted with fake blood
Considering how utterly useless I am usually with creativity and that my sewing skills are non existent I don't think it came out half bad. Although my nails were so long I couldn't do anything!

Blazin' Up
I've wanted a blazer for as long as I can remember but for some reason I just cannot pull them off. However, I had a bit of spare time whilst queueing for the new iPhone (sad I know) and popped into ol' Topshop for a browse. My intention was to look for a pair of shorts but I randomly came across this blazer, threw it on and ran to the till with it as fast as my little trotters could go.
Not sure why it looks better that all the rest I've tried on? The price? I mean £65? What the hell Topshop, it had better suit me for that price! Or maybe the size? It's a 6, which I wouldn't usually go for but they didn't have an 8 so i just really tried it on a whim. Boy am I glad though, me and my blazer are best friends now.
So obviously I broke it out that night.
Blazer - Topshop
Dress - Rare @ Topshop
Shoes - Topshop
Bag - Mulberry
Rings - ASOS & Topshop
Hmmm OD'ed on Topshop again.
Me and my friend hit up London, got terribly, terribly drunk, staggered to the train to get home, my friend ran off the train at some random station to vomit everywhere, couldn't get back on the train in time, so it left me riding off on the train alone and her on a random platform alone. Happily no-one got raped or murdered and we both live to tell the tale, albeit with huge hangovers.
The moral of the story kids, don't drink.

Wind whine
Quick outfit of the day. Just been for some lunch with my friend and little mooch around the shops. Super stoked I finally managed to do a fishtail braid! Only took about 10 attempts......
The hat was kind of an accident, I just wore it to tie it into the bag (which I didn't actually use anyway!) that I wanted to wear. But boy am I glad I did, sooooo windy today. Massive lipgloss/hair failure! Which could have been 100% worse if it weren't for the hat!
Top, jeans, necklace - Topshop
Shoes - ASOS
Rings - ASOS & Topshop
Hat - Miss Selfridge
Bag - eBay (here) I hate the fact that it's blatant knock-off attempt but it's actually pretty good quality and super cheap!
Must dash, this cake and a cup of tea is calling!
Hope you lovies are all ok.

Holiday Blues
Although I seem to have frequent hiatus's from blogging I actually have a value excuse this time. I've been in America for 2 weeks.
My boyfriends parents have a place out in Marco Island, FL so me and him go there every year, but this year we stopped off in New York before for a couple of nights. I've never been to New York before so it was pretty exciting, but massively exhausting! We practically walked around the whole of New York shopping and doing little touristy bits. But my favourite part was going to PDT, or Please Don't Tell, it's like a secret cocktail bar that's hidden behind a phone booth, it's really hard to get a table in because they only let you ring up to book at certain time on the day you want to go and then of course the phone-line is jammed! But we sort of rocked up and managed to wangle a table!
I am however utterly ashamed of my photography skills. I actually took like 10 photos of the whole trip on my iPhone (not even my camera!) and they are all rubbish! Plus I'm super upset that I didn't manage to get any photos of PDT, but I hate, hate, hate looking like a tourist so I stupidly didn't take my phone or camera!
Anyway here are a couple of pictures from the trip.

New York
Crazy ass picture of cabs
Super yum French toast at Cookshop
Of course we had to try one of Magnolia's cupcakes!
The Kardashian's shop, super happy to stumble upon this, but nothing in there particularly caught my eye
Amazing desert at Buddakan
View from the Empire State building
Florida
Even the roads in FL are pretty!
Naples beach
Naples pier, always a gorgeous sunset
The boyf
OMG I love rare tuna
Anyway it's back down to earth with a bump, as I'm back on night shifts this week. I'm super jet-lagged still because of it and I'm worried that I'm never going to get back to the right time zone!

Feelunique.com Beauty Box - September
I know beauty boxes have been around for a while but I've never been one to lust over them. But a month or so ago I recieved an email about Feelunique.com's foray into the beauty box world. Feelunique is a website I've ordered from before and liked, so I guess that's what swayed my decision.
I'd pretty much forgotten I'd signed up until I got an email a few days ago saying that they were sorry but the September box was going to be late. So I eventually recieved it today, after they sent a dispache email on Monday (pretty speedy delivery)
Excuse the picture heaviness. I haven't had a chance to try out the new products really so reviews in time I guess!

Eek stuffed full!
I didn't mind it was late, but I always like free stuff!
New CID Cosmetics Picture Perfect Kit - full size
Contains 2 eye shadows, lipgloss, highlighter and mascara.
Lipgloss, eyeshadows and highlighter
The eyeshadows are actually really nice, soft feeling a really pigmented. Can def see me using the brown a lot. Lipgloss is good colour as is the highlighter, the mascara is so bloody small though, it's pretty pointless!
Redken Quick Dry 18 Mini 0 mini sized 100ml retails £3.15
Am a fan of Redken and I actually was about to buy a mini hairspray for my holiday, so this is perfect. But at the end of the day it's hairspray. Smells ok, works well, I'm not quite sure what the quick drying part is about though. Since when does hairspray take long to dry anyway? Anyway I needed this, so WIN
Balm Balm 100% Organic Tea Tree Face Balm - 30ml (full size) Retails £5.99
This balm is the same concept as Elizabeth Ardens 8 Hour Cream etc. So basically you can use it anywhere, I have however never used those creams/balms on my face as they are so damn greasy. I am inclined to try this one though as it contains tea tree oil and is organic, boy does it stink though! Like I said I'm going away so I reckon this might be used as a sort of mask for my face on the 7 hour plane journey. Tea tree is a old favourite of mine for getting rid of spots on my skanky skin so this is pretty useful for me and I'm willing to get over the smell for that reason. But for people with lovely spotless skin, be warned it really does stink.
Ella Bache Creme Tomate Vitamin Radiance Cream - 30mls (Full Size 50mls - retails £45.95)
Containing tomato, this is supposed to be a complexion brightener. Has a lovely pearl like sheen to it that doesn't make you look like a disco ball face. I like.
Di Palomo Wild Fig and Grape Enriching Hand and Nail Cream 25ml (Full size 75ml - retails £6.30)
No-one can ever do wrong by giving me hand cream, as my hands a constantly being washed or covered in alcohol gel. This smells nice, doesn't particullary feel like anything special on though, but I'm happy enough
Caudalie VinoPerfect Day Perfecting Fluid
This is an extra in the box. Feels nice, only a tiny size but as it was an extra I don't care!
Elle Saab perfum Echatillon 1ml
This picture makes it look huge! It's just a perfume sample though. Smell nice, I like keeping little samples in my bag for top ups through the day. This was another extra too!
So all in all I'm pretty pleased, but then at the end of the day I love a surprise so for me this was kind of like opening a Christmas present!
Did you receive the FeelUnique.com beauty box. Or have I ruined the surprise?

On the wrong track
Couldn't really resist breaking out the wedges!
Unfortunately this outfit was meant to be worn for going out in Covent Garden with a friend. But someone decided to jump in front of a train, so I actually spent 2 hours sitting on a train to London that was at a standstill. Then was made to get off the train at some random station with no trains running. Until eventually I managed to find a train that could take me back home. All very stressful and I will not go into what I think of people who decided to take there own life in front of a train on a Friday evening rush hour.
I did manage to met my friend in my home town for a Mexican though, so all was not lost.
Top - New Look
Jeans - Topshop
Wedges & ring - River Island
Bag - Primark
